Co-hosted by founder James Kennedy, the 90-Second Newbery Film Festival is an annual worldwide video contest in which young filmmakers create short movies that tell the entire stories of Newbery-winning books in just 90 seconds. The festival is looking for full-on movie dramatizations and Firebird wants to help!

This short term workshop will be led by Benny, one of our teaching artists, to help teens create their film for the Newbery Film Festival.
